Making a difference to pupils in The Gambia

Enrichment case study (Academy)

Students at Ormiston Denes Academy have kindly donated blazers to children in The Gambia, after they collected a stock of former blazers following a change of uniform.

Dawn Carver, a member of staff at the academy presented the blazers on a charitable visit, combined with a family holiday.

The Gambian Schools Trust was incredibly thankful for the donation and reported that pupils at Loumen are now proudly wearing their blazers every day.

The academy was delighted to support the wonderful work of Gambian Schools Trust, who provides essential school resources to The Gambia’s young people, and it was great to see the school raise such a large donation.
