Edward Worlledge Ormiston Academy has received a good rating across all categories in its latest Ofsted report. Inspectors found that pupils are “surrounded by warmth and kindness”, and that all the adults care about their wellbeing.
The report found the academy to be an environment which is “calm and purposeful”, where pupils have been taught to “be kind and work hard.” Meanwhile, the “broad and ambitious curriculum” enables teachers to pass on “interesting and useful knowledge” to pupils. Inspectors also commended the tight-knit support network of subject specialists, governors and OAT leaders who are on hand to give advice and support the academy’s leaders. They noted that this network “has helped leaders to translate their vision of high-quality education into reality.”
Everyone at the academy is sharing in the success of this latest Ofsted outcome, and looking forward to celebrating many more achievements in future.
