Ormiston Bridge Academy student shines at Christmas carol service

  12 January, 2022

In December 2021, a student from Ormiston Bridge Academy gave a remarkable performance at the local Christmas carol service.

Student, Shae, performed at St Eth’s Church in Fulham in a service that was put on to bring the community together.

Shae enthusiastically signed up to sing at the service, despite having never performed before a live audience before. He gave a fantastic performance of ‘Writing on the Wall’ by Sam Smith, which was met with a round of applause.

The service brought people together for some festive cheer and included performances from a range of different groups.

Ormiston Bridge Academy student Charlie and principal Keziah Raphael also took part in the service, performing a reading from “Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”.

Both students and Ms Raphael made the whole academy very proud with their amazing bravery and excellent talent.

Keziah Raphael, principal at Ormiston Bridge Academy, said: “It was a truly wonderful service and a really fantastic way to bring people from across our community together.

“At Ormiston Bridge Academy we offer our students unique opportunities to nurture and celebrate their talents, including arranging valuable experiences in performing on stage.”
