Ormiston Victory Academy celebrates A-level student achievements

Students and staff at Lord Nelson Sixth Form, Ormiston Victory Academy are celebrating today after receiving their A-level results, enabling them to secure places at their chosen/prestigious universities, on coveted apprenticeships and selected jobs.

The sixth form students at Ormiston Victory Academy have achieved some excellent results which reflect the hard work and commitment shown throughout their studies.

Students across the academy performed well, with some of the individual standout achievements including:

  • Reuben Elvin who achieved a Distinction* in creative media, a Distinction* in psychology and a double Distinction* in performing arts and has been awarded a prestigious place at one of the UK’s leading drama schools, Montview.
  • Reegan Green who achieved an A in biology, B in chemistry and B in mathematics has secured a place at Kings College London to study sport and medical science. 
  • Adam Kerridge who achieved 2 A* in English Literature and history and an A in psychology has secured a place at the University of Sheffield to study law.
  • Megan Notley who achieved 3 A* grades in English Literature, history and her EPQ as well as an A in art and design will embark on her English Literature and creative writing degree at the University of East Anglia.
  • Jay Hydon, who achieve an A* in mathematics, an A in further mathematics, a Distinction* in engineering and a Distinction* in BTEC creative media, will be attending the University of East Anglia next year to study engineering.

Naomi Palmer, principal said: “I want to say a huge congratulations to all of our sixth form students on their fantastic results. They have worked incredibly hard and have shown great determination and dedication to their learning. We wish them all the very best in their next steps.”
