Sixth form students at Ormiston Academies celebrated great achievements on A Level results day. This year 76% of those who collected their marks on Thursday notched up three or more A Levels, an increase of 52.4% on last year’s figures.

The number of students gaining two or more A Levels rose by 33.96% and one or more by 23.27%, meaning that 99.3% of Ormiston sixth formers gained at least one A Level or equivalent.

Peter Murray, chairman of Ormiston Academies Trust adds: “It is fantastic to see our sixth form students doing so well. The increase in results is great news; I offer my congratulations to them and wish them all the best in the future. Well done also to the academy staff who have supported students in their achievements.”
