The City of Norwich School – An Ormiston Academy is an exciting, forward thinking Academy with high expectations for all its staff and students. We are now seeking to appoint an Inclusion Mentor to work with the Inclusion Manager to develop, implement and lead strategies and extra support for students to raise self-esteem, confidence and resilience. The Inclusion Mentor will also work with teaching colleagues to plan and deliver target support to raise achievement, attendance and overcome barriers to learning.

The successful candidate will oversee the day to day running of the school’s Internal Exclusion Unit, and  will have the ability to encourage students to learn and engender positive attitudes to learning, as well as manage student behaviour and challenge underperformance.
