As a part of a successful team that ensures the highest quality of science education for the children you will work with other staff to prepare materials and equipment for science lessons, carrying out risk assessments, keep check of stock and disposing of waste appropriately. Alongside the technician role you will also be expected to support students within the classes – especially during practical sessions. This role will ensure that you are equipped with the training and skills to progress into a career within the science team. This apprenticeship includes completion of a Level 3, Laboratory Technician Apprentice in school, whilst working on a fixed term placement. This will include 20% of the job training.
