Ormiston Victory Academy is seeking to appoint an inspiring, innovative and dedicated Teacher/Instructor of Art and Design (with preferred specialism in Photography) to teach KS3 and KS4. The successful applicant will join a highly professional team working within a thriving; happy academy.

Ormiston Victory Academy was graded “outstanding” by Ofsted in 2013 in every measure of its review – ‘The relentless focus on improving teaching has underpinned its rapid improvement and the outstanding achievement of its students’ (Ofsted 2013).

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who:

  • Can teach GCSE photography to Year 9 and Year 10 students
  • Is able to teach textiles to Key Stage 3 students
  • Is able to work Monday, Tuesday and Friday
  • Is dynamic, innovative, self-motivated and able to inspire others. 
  • Is committed to raising standards of attainment and developing the success of the department.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and demonstrates reflective practice through the high expectations they have of themselves and the students.
