Andrew is a chartered accountant and holds a master’s degree in French and German from Oxford University. He had a long executive career as chief financial officer of numerous global businesses based in London, most recently at V.Group, a provider of maritime services, where he upgraded the group finance function and improved reporting and governance procedures before helping to sell the business in 2017 to a leading global private equity fund.
Andrew now holds a number of consultancies and directorships in the private and not-for-profit sectors. He believes in education as an enabler of social mobility, having been the first member of his family to go to university. Andrew became a member of the OAT board in 2018 and sits on the audit and people committees and he chairs the finance committee. He shares his time between London and Dublin, where he lives with wife, Fiona and their two teenage children.
