Pupils at Ormiston Meadows Academy get creative for local vets

  4 December, 2020

Pupils at Ormiston Meadows Academy have been enlisted by a new veterinary practice to help brighten up its surgery in the wake of its opening.

Werrington Vets, a family-run independent practice, decided to hold a poster competition for students at the school, based on the theme ‘My Favourite Animal’. The contest saw a range of animals depicted, from house pets to the jungle animals.

All of the pupils submitted wonderful posters, and the winning entries from Patrick, Keona and Henry are now on display at the surgery.

Mrs Kelly Moore, Principal of Ormiston Meadows Academy, said:

“Our pupils are always keen to share their amazing talents and this competition was a great way to combine their love of animals and their creative skills. At Ormiston Meadows Academy we want to ensure that pupils are given opportunities to express themselves creatively, and this competition has been a great opportunity for them to do that.”
