Students at Cliff Park Ormiston Academy, in Gorleston, are celebrating today after receiving their GCSE results, helping them to take the next steps in their education journey.

Everyone has come together to mark the achievements of all the students, who have worked extremely hard over the past couple of years to secure these grades.

Alongside the continued success of the academy, some particular individual highlights include:

  • Martin Balkus who successfully achieved a grade 9 in biology, physics, chemistry and maths and grade 8 in geography and history.
  • Lily Bull attained a grade 9 in art, English language, history and sociology and grade 8s in combined science, English literature, religious studies and music.
  • Amy Stone secured a grade 9 in Art, English literature and history and grade 8s in combined science, religious studies and French.

Harry French, principal, said: “We’re extremely proud of the results our students have achieved today, which have helped them to take their next steps. They have worked really hard during their time with us, with the support of our colleagues, and so today’s celebrations are testament to this.

“A huge congratulations to all our Year 11 cohort receiving their results today, and a thank you to everyone who has played an important part in their journey at Cliff Park.”
