Ormiston Beachcroft Academy students celebrate strong GCSE results

Students at Ormiston Beachcroft Academy are celebrating a strong set of GCSE results today, as they get ready to take the next steps in their education journey.

The hard work of students across the past two years at the alternative provision (AP) school has paid dividends, with progress made in key areas.

Alongside the continued success of the Academy, some particular individual highlights include:

Deena Bani who achieved a distinction for IT and excellent grades in science and Art, as well as eight qualifications
Shaqai White who secured a fantastic grade for art and will continue this at college.
Ayman Hamdoun who achieved eight GCSEs
Ismail Hamidi who achieved eight qualifications, including a strong grade for science.

Michelle Burgess-Allen, principal said: “These really brilliant results are testament to the calm and collected way in which our students approached their exams. We are so proud of our students, and pleased that everyone has been able to come together to celebrate their achievements. As part of this, I also want to thank our staff, and the wider school community, for the ongoing and invaluable support they have provided our students throughout.”
