Ormiston Denes Academy students collect their GCSE results

Students at Ormiston Denes Academy, which is in Lowestoft, are celebrating today after receiving their GCSE results, as they get ready to take their next steps in their education journey.

Everyone has come together to mark the achievements of all the students, who have worked exceptionally hard over the past couple of years to secure these grades. Some particular individual highlights include:

After many hours developing her artist skills, Mia Mirgaux successfully achieved a 9 in art, and a series of 8s in her English language, geography and history studies.
Ashton Ardley achieved excellent results across all his subjects, including 9s in science and Distinctions in both business and iMedia.

Kate Williams, principal said: “Our students should be proud of themselves and everything they have achieved since beginning their secondary education. With the help of their families, friends, the wonderful academy staff and our supportive wider community, their results are a testament to the importance of hard work and determination. We are all looking forward to seeing what is next on the horizon for each of them.”
